Nashville Spotlight: Flip Burger Boutique
West Nashville just got a lot tastier! Celebrity Chef Richard Blais just opened his Flip Burger Boutique located at 4111 Charlotte Avenue (where the former Hostess Bakery once stood) at the corner of Charlotte and 42nd.
The decor is very modern/sleek, and the food.. delicious. We tried the Nutella/Burnt Marshmallow milkshake, Butcher's Cut burger (beef patty, bleu cheese, caramelized onions, soy truffle vinaigrette, frisee, pickled shallots, red wine jam) and Chorizo burger (chorizo-spiced pork, hashbrowns, fried egg, manchego, spanish paprika, almond romesco, smoked mayo). The burgers are served a la carte, but I highly recommend adding a side of onion rings.
Flip Burger is definitely a welcome addition to the West side food scene. If there is a long wait, check out The Beer Pale directly next door for a tasty local pint :)
